FishBC 3.0 Help is accessible through a variety of ways.
Many objects within FishBC 3.0 are linked to a certain topic in
the help system. When the object has the focus, for
example your cursor is in a text box of the back-calculations
window, you can press the "F1" key and the help system will open
and show you the most relevant topic associated with that
object. You can also access the help by pressing the "F2"
button which will open the help system to the introductory
screen you see to the right. The help system is design as
an HTML, webpage. Many items are linked in the help system
and indicated by underlined blue text. By double clicking
on that item you will navigate to that topic.
There are two panes, the left pane allows you to browse the
contents, browse the index, and search the entire help system.
The right pane displays the help topic in HTML format. The
layout is dynamic and you can resize either pane by click and
drag the vertical line separating the panes. |
