FishBC 3.0.1 Patch

Do I need the Patch?

To find out if you have the latest version with the patch installed, open FishBC and click "Help">>"About FishBC..."  This will open up the About dialog window.  Towards the top it lists the version.  The original release in September 2007 will be identified as "Version 3.0".  The patch will be identified as "Version 3.0.1"  If your version is 3.0 than you need to download the patch.  Follow directions below.   If your version is 3.0.1 you have the latest version with the patch and do not need to do anything further.

Directions to install the FishBC 3.0.1 Patch.  Printer friendly directions

1.  Complete the form below

2.  You will then be directed to the download page

3.  You will see a security bar at the top of the window,  click the bar and click "Download File"

4.  In the dialog box that appears click "Save" NOT "Run"

5.  Save the installation file in an easily accessible directory on your computer

6.  After the installation is downloaded navigate the the file and double click it.

7.  You may see another Security Warning, click Run

8.  You must remove FishBC first.  Click the option box "Remove FishBC" and click next.

9.  When FishBC is removed click "Close"

10.  Run the installation again normally to install the latest version of FishBC.

     Please complete the form below to download the FishBC 3.0.1 Patch.  This patch fixes several bugs and includes several additions.  A few of the additions include .jpg compatibility for image analysis and Wintab32 enabled digitizer compatibility.  For a complete listing of the bugs and additions available with the patch click here. 

     By completing this form you are allowed to download the patch one time only.  If you attempt to download the patch multiple times it is in violation of the end users license agreement.  After completing the form and clicking "Submit Request" you will be direct to another web page with instructions on how to download the FishBC patch.
